Vacancy: Trust HR Officer

Grade: ST 5 (point 13 to 17)

Hours: 18 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Monday to Friday - working pattern can be discussed but between the hours of 9am and 3pm over 5 days.

Salary:£10,810 - £11,465 per annum (FTE £24,608 - £26,100 per annum)

Based: This role is offered on a hybrid working basis with a mix of office (based at Elmstead Wood Primary School) and home working.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised, flexible and efficient HR Officer to join the Trust’s central team at our Spring Trust office. You will play a pivotal role within the central team, supporting the HR Manager, ensuring our schools receive exceptional support, service delivery and solutions for their recruitment needs.

Our Spring Trust office is located at Elmstead Wood Primary School, Castlecombe Road, Mottingham, London, SE9 4AT. This role will involve both working from home and in the office.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and able to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to use their own initiative. You should be well organized with excellent attention to detail, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.

You should be proficient in the use of IT software such as Microsoft Office and Google packages.

The successful candidate will manage all HR-related administration matters which will include recruitment from advert to on-boarding, changes to employee working patterns, salary changes, employment contracts and managing the staff leaving process. Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but not essential. The role will be a busy and diverse one.
