Trust ICT Manager (St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust)

Salary and Grade:(H9 28 - 31 Fringe) FTE £39,152 - £41,771 + £729 (£39,881 - £42,500), depending on skills and experience)

Hours: 37 hours per week - all year round - 27 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer / Chief Executive Officer

The St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust is looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our central Trust team from January 2026 as Trust ICT Manager. This new role will support the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer and the rest of the Trust Executive and will work as an integral part of the Trust Executive team to lead, design and deliver ICT integrated systems and services for the Trust as well as having a hands-on role in supporting the Trust schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead and shape the future of our Trust ICT services, whether at strategic level, such as researching, costing and leading on integrated IT systems or operational level, ensuing the smooth operation and access to ICT services and packages for staff and students.

Established in September 2021, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust is currently formed of nine Academies. A growing and successful Trust we are currently in the process of increasing the Trust by up to another 6 schools (based in Enfield) and expect the Trust to continue to grow.

This role will be based at St Mary’s Catholic School on-site initially to ensure proper onboarding and collaboration. After this initial period, hybrid working arrangements may be considered, subject to business needs and performance. However, post holders must be able to and expect to attend the Trust schools on a regular basis and as required for meetings, team activities, or operational needs.

This is a senior MAT wide role. Whilst your primary base will be at St Mary’s Catholic School, you will also be expected to work, and line manage any ICT staff or needs across the Trust schools

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

A proven track record for ICT support

A proven ICT record in delivering support over multiple complex networks and systems

The ability to think on their feet and adapt to the changing demands of the organisation

High degree of self-motivation, with the ability to adapt to different technical environments within the Trust

Experience of successful line management

Ability to advise on strategic developments
