Trust Lead Teacher: Computing
Job Title: Lead Teacher- Lionheart Educational Trust
Reporting to: Director of Curriculum
Salary: Leadership pay range: L1-5
Hours: Full time
Based at: North/North West Leicestershire or South Derbyshire Lionheart Schools. The exact school base will be discussed at interview considering experience, skills and geographical preference.
Teaching hours: 0.8 FTE will be based at one of Lionheart secondary schools. This will be matched to the candidate’s experience, skills and geographical preference where possible while reflecting the needs of the trust.
0.2 FTE will be provided to undertake a strategic trust wide role, supporting leadership development and leading improvement projects linked to Computing and the Trust Development Plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly effective classroom teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain trust-wide leadership experience while remaining rooted in classroom practice.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about making a difference beyond their own classroom and will be motivated by improving outcomes for learners across a range of secondary schools. They will be a confident and reflective practitioner with a track record of strong outcomes, bringing creativity, professionalism and a collaborative approach to their work.
The right candidate will be flexible and outward-facing, embracing the opportunity to work alongside colleagues across Lionheart Schools. Following an initial period in post, there may be opportunities to support additional schools as part of agreed improvement work, enabling the postholder to gain breadth of experience and develop as a future trust-wide leader.
