Faringdon Learning Trust are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Operations Officer to join our friendly, professional team. This is a wide-ranging, ‘hands-on’ role, with responsibility for managing the maintenance and improvement of school property and assets to support the provision of an excellent environment for outstanding teaching and learning. The post holder will oversee the monitoring and reporting of premises, health and safety, compliance and GDPR across the Trust. They will be required to provide facilities management and project support to the Trust Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of facilities management, managing and motivating staff, excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise tactfully and assertively with all stakeholders, a solutions focussed approach to tasks and experience of health and safety in a work environment.
In addition, they will be highly organised with a methodical, thorough approach to tasks; able to prioritise; and motivated to work independently under their own initiative. Experience within an educational organisation is desirable, though not essential.
