Trust Premises Manager job summary

We are looking for a Premises Manager who will be part of the Trust Business Team and support the development and delivery of Trust-wide estate and asset management processes. This role comes at an exciting point of the Trust's development, and the successful candidate will lead on the establishment of facilities management systems across the Trust and onboarding of new schools. The post-holder will also provide specialist premises and health & safety advice and technical supervision of school-based premises staff. They may be deployed to offer intense support to specific schools as need arises. A track record of managing estates projects, successful leadership and development of staff and a strong working knowledge of health and safety is essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to manage complexity and have a track record of commitment to their own personal and professional development. The role will involve travel to all schools within the Trust and drivers will need to ensure that their vehicle is insured for business use. Candidates will need to have a flexible approach to management of working hours to meet the needs of the schools.
