Annual leave of 25 days* plus Bank holidays
* 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays with 5 years local government service.
We have a unique opportunity for a motivated, proactive and flexible Premises Officer to work under the direction of our Trust Estates Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the smooth running of our schools and ensure that students, staff, and visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
The OAK Multi Academy Trust is far more than just a network of schools it is a family of schools currently located in Leicestershire and Leicester City, with an infant, a junior, two primary, and one secondary school. We are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of all our children and empowering our whole school communities to enable this to happens to its fullest.
We are seeking to recruit a Premises Officer to provide support where most needed, across our five schools, reporting directly to our Trust Estates Manager. All schools are within a three-mile radius of each other and the post holder will need a suitable method of transport to fulfil this requirement.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across different sites while learning from our highly skilled Estates Manager. The post is fulltime, 37 hours per week, though we are happy to discuss options for part time working with the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have:
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Site/Facilities Officer.
-Knowledge of health & safety and good security practices.
-The ability to use their own initiative with a flexible and adaptable approach to manage school buildings and grounds, ensuring there is a clean and safe environment for pupils to learn.
-Passion and commitment to school improvement along with a desire to be involved in the strategic development of the estate.
-Experience in at least one craft trade e.g., plumbing, carpentry etc
-Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
-A flexible and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
