Your role:
You are an experienced SENDCo who is looking to take the next step in your career and take on the role of TDET SEND Lead. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with TDET SENDCos in all of our academies and with the TDET Executive team and Principals.
You will provide strategic direction for all Trust schools to ensure clear direction and accountability for the outcomes of learners with SEND. This role is crucial in shaping and enhancing SEND strategies, sharing best practices, and ensuring that every school within the Trust delivers outstanding support and opportunities for pupils with special educational needs. You will have responsibility for ensuring that all TDET schools are compliant with all statutory frameworks relating to pupils with SEND.
The role offers an opportunity to:
- Lead innovation in SEND education - create and execute effective strategies that enable pupils to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
- Inspire and develop others to provide the highest quality education – collaborative working with Principals and SENDCos to provide exceptional SEND support through innovative professional development approaches, training and coaching
- Build strong and effective relationships with parents, those responsible for governance and external stakeholders to ensure individual and collective needs are met.
