Trust Support Manager job summary

Job Purpose: To provide support and additional capacity to schools in the Trust in Policy Management, Compliance, Admissions, Safeguarding, and Attendance.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Scope:

Financial Accountabilities - None

Staff Responsibilities - None

Management of Physical Assets - None

Main Tasks/Accountabilities:

  1. To support school admissions including compliance in terms of adult to child ratios and qualification. To monitor for compliance the school's implementation of the annual review of the Admissions policy and consultation processes.
  2. To monitor and advise Designated Safeguarding Leads in schools across the Trust in terms of safeguarding compliance, updates, CPOMS and the Single Central Record.
  3. To monitor incident reporting in CPOMS via Spotlight, NSPCC Audits and report to the CEO and Safeguarding Trustee on a half termly basis.
  4. To support the schools in accessing funding, grants, donations and external support e.g. Innovation Inclusion Project as agreed with the CEO.
  5. To support the CEO in policy management including the implementation of the policy planner, regular review and updating of policies, managing the policy SharePoint site, communication and issuing to schools of policy updates.
  6. To monitor attendance across the Trust using Arbor, to provide termly attendance reports to schools and prepare the information for the attendance network meetings.
  7. To support the schools in monitoring and advising on website compliance.
  8. To support the implementation of the People Strategy across the Trust, including data analysis to ensure alignment with key policies and initiatives that enhance staff wellbeing, development, and retention.
  9. To assist in marketing the Trust and supporting schools in promoting their brand and marketing approaches.
  10. Any other tasks as directed by the CEO to support schools.
