Help Shape the Future of Education – Become a Trustee
LiFE Multi Academy Trust is seeking passionate, values-driven individuals to join our Trust Board. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and make a meaningful difference to the lives of children, young people and communities across our Trust.
Who We’re Looking For
To strengthen the collective skills of the Board, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience or expertise in:
● School Improvement – safeguarding, secondary education
● Finance – finance, accountancy
● Audit & Risk – audit, procurement, risk management, law
● Infrastructure – estates management, procurement, health & safety
● Pay & People – HR, employment law
Trustees are also company directors and are expected to contribute to at least one specialist committee aligned to their skills.

● Previous board or committee experience is welcomed but not essential – full training and support are provided
Time Commitment
● 4 Trust Board meetings per year (hybrid / virtual / in-person)
● Each committee meets 3 times per year (virtual)
● Reading and preparation time
