Trusts Estates Lead job summary
Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust (BILTT) currently operates over five sites providing education to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Our Academies, supported by the Trust, provide an environment which is welcoming, nurturing, calm, safe and purposeful. BILTT’s vision is to continue to develop a high performing SEND Multi Academy Trust that delivers the very best educational experiences for pupils regardless of their starting points.
The role of Trust Estates Lead is to oversee the maintenance and operation of the Trust schools/premises and physical assets, ensuring that all environments are safe, efficient, and cost effective. The postholder will lead the estates operations across all of our sites, including the management of site agents, and ensure statutory compliance through robust systems and procedures.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent organisational skills the ability to work independently, be able to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergencies effectively. You will need to be flexible in approach and be willing to participate in whole school activities - open days and community events for example. Part of the role will also involve attending, as required, Trust Board and Governor meetings which take place after school hours.
