TUTOR FOR STUDENTS WITH SEND - MATHS
Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Full-time (37 hours/week, term-time only + 5 training days)
Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday: 8.00am - 3.30pm
Salary: Level 4B (Point 15 - 18)
Actual Salary Range: £26,141.00 - £27,459.00 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a flexible, committed and enthusiastic Tutor to join our thriving school community and support the maths learning and numeracy skills of students with additional needs.
About the Role
This is an exciting and varied role combining where you will support the maths learning and numeracy skills of students with additional needs, implementing targeted interventions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers, parents and the wider SEND team to facilitate a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London.
