Exciting Opportunity – Tutor (Outreach and On-Site Provision)
Location: Venn Boulevard Centre, Hull
Contract Type: Negotiable start date – as soon as possible preferred

We are an alternative provision with special school designation, committed to providing a holistic education that prepares our students for success in all aspects of life

  • Classroom-based provision at Venn Boulevard Centre

  • Outreach education, providing support in pupils’ homes, community settings or virtually

We are seeking a creative, motivational and patient Tutor to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work flexibly across both our on-site and outreach offer, supporting pupils with complex needs to engage with education.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition either in the classroom, at home, in alternative settings or online

  • Support the academic, emotional and social development of pupils, with a strong understanding of how individuals learn

  • Inspire progress through a blended curriculum of academic and creative learning opportunities

  • Be committed to supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including those with EHCPs or experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and understands the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with some of the most vulnerable pupils in our community.
