The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering consistently excellent classroom practice, underpinned by a deep understanding of child development and learning processes. Your adeptness in the classroom will enable you to foster a collaborative environment, inspiring and supporting colleagues within the phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire colleagues within the Upper Key Stage 2 phase.
  • Take the lead in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with school objectives and educational standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate phase-wide planning activities.
  • Support staff in effectively meeting the core aims and objectives of the school.
  • Demonstrate exemplary classroom practice, maintaining high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
  • Display a commitment to personal and professional development, contributing to broader school improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a teaching role, preferably within Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment.
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development, with a commitment to ongoing improvement.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in education.
