Salary: Unqualified Teacher Scale UQ1 £21,731Contract: Full Time / Fixed term 1 year (3 month probation period)
We are excited to offer an internal opportunity for a passionate and committed individual to join our team as an Unqualified Class Teacher from September 2025 for a year 3 class.
This role is ideal for someone with experience of supporting in the classroom and who is now ready to step into a teaching role; with guidance and support from our experienced team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, support pupil progress, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of the class teacher or phase leader.
- Support the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards.
- Take part in planning and preparation, assessment, and staff development opportunities.
- Maintaining school records, attendance registers, lunch list, AR, Assessment, With the support of the phase leader.
- To participate in Playground supervision according to the timetable.
- To conform to Health and Safety Regulations and to have a caring approach to the well-being of all children both in the classroom and in the public areas of the school.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths.
- Demonstrates strong classroom presence and a commitment to pupil learning.
- Has experience working in primary education.
- Is ready to learn, grow, and take the next step in their career journey.
- Can demonstrate clear and professional communication skills to children, parents and staff.
- Fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults, following school and legal policies in accordance of the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2024 .
