What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced and effective Upper Key Stage Two teacher to join our team. You will be someone who has high expectations, a strong understanding of the curriculum, and a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes for pupils. You will bring energy, creativity and a commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice. As a valued member of our teaching team, you will inspire a love of learning in your pupils and work collaboratively with colleagues to drive continual improvement across the phase and school.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and ambitious school environment.

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Has substantial experience teaching in UKS2
  • Is confident in teaching the full range of the UKS2 curriculum, including preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, planning, and classroom management
  • Uses assessment effectively to inform teaching and raise standards
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
  • Is reflective, enthusiastic, and keen to continue their own professional development
  • Brings a warm, caring and positive approach to supporting children’s wellbeing and progress
