Upper KS2 Teacher job summary
At Meryfield, we are extremely passionate about providing our children with the best possible opportunities to open doors to their future. We are looking for a committed and hard-working practitioner, who is enthusiastic about working with smaller groups of children in the core subjects in order to help them fill their potential before moving on to secondary school.
We are looking for a motivated and inspirational teacher to join our staff team and to work directly with the upper Key Stage 2 team five mornings per week.
We are looking for someone who:
- Will be an exemplar of consistent good practice as a teacher, who consistently demonstrates all aspects of the Teacher Standards to a high standard.
- Will have experience in teaching English and Maths at upper Key Stage 2.
- Is adaptable and has excellent classroom management skills.
- Is an excellent team player
- Will maintain a regular overview of the progress children in your team are making, ensuring all children are being supported and challenged appropriately
