Class Teacher - Reception job summary
We are on an exciting journey since our last Ofsted inspection in February 2023 and are looking to appoint a committed, creative and dynamic teacher with high expectations of our pupils and themselves. We need someone who is passionate about teaching and has the enthusiasm and dedication to make a difference in the lives of our pupils.
In return, we can offer the right candidate: happy and enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning; a dedicated, supportive and friendly team of staff; an experienced mentor; a highly supportive governing body; excellent TA support; structured CPD and opportunities for further development. We would love to develop your potential!
The position would suit an experienced teacher who would like to join a friendly, dynamic and nurturing team which works hard to develop the pupils’ learning and embody our school moto of Aiming High Together. We offer a comprehensive induction and development programme for all new staff.
We are committed to safeguarding, equality of opportunity and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical check and references. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
Our school is located in Borehamwood with amazing transport links to inner London. The school sits just off the A1 motorway making it very easy to access from all parts of Hertfordshire.
We welcome visits from interested candidates. For more information about the role or to arrange a visit, please email Lisa Daniels at lisa.daniels@saffrongreen.herts.sch.uk.
