Due to an unexpected change in the circumstances of the successful applicant, we are required to readvertise this position.
Due to a planned restructure, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced and highly effective Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026. We are a successful primary school that is determined to provide the highest quality learning for every child.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in Key Stage 2, demonstrating strong subject knowledge, high expectations for pupil achievement and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
The role will include:
- Teaching all aspects of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring well-planned, engaging and inclusive lessons
- Maintaining high standards of pupil progress, behaviour and wellbeing
- Contributing positively to team planning, assessment and moderation
- Taking on subject leadership responsibilities, with the opportunity to further develop leadership skills
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil success
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a strong understanding of the Upper KS2 curriculum
- Has high expectations of all pupils and a commitment to raising standards
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management
- Is reflective, motivated and committed to ongoing professional development
- Is able to contribute to the wider life of the school
