Lift Ryde is looking for an inspiring Vice Principal to work closely with our Principal to guide our school community, strengthen teaching and learning, and help shape the future for all our students.

This is a chance to take on a varied and rewarding role where you will support whole-school initiatives, build trusted relationships with students, staff, parents and carers, and make a real difference every day. You will oversee the smooth running of the school and step in for the Principal when needed.

About the role
You will work alongside the Principal to guide the school and support its continued growth. This role is key to creating a culture of high expectations, excellent teaching and positive relationships across the whole school community. You will help lead on curriculum design, student welfare, behaviour systems and staff development.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Principal in creating and delivering the school improvement plan
  • Oversee daily activities and ensure policies are followed to maintain high standards
  • Guide and develop staff through coaching, training and appraisals
  • Create and implement behaviour and culture policies that promote respect and inclusion
  • Use student progress and staff performance data to identify strengths and areas to improve
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external organisations to support student success

We are looking for someone who
You will be a skilled classroom practitioner with a strong track record of achieving excellent outcomes for all children. You will have experience as a senior leader in education and a passion for supporting others to grow and succeed. Strong communication skills, the ability to solve problems and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. Can you bring high expectations, warmth and clarity to this role?
