Vice Principal (Primary Phase) job summary
Are you an ambitious and inspirational school leader ready to make a difference? The Howard Partnership Trust is seeking an exceptional Vice Principal to work within one of our THPT Primary schools, supporting school improvement, raising standards and ensuring every child receives a life-changing education.
As Vice Principal, in partnership with the Principal, you will ensure that the aims of the school are met. You will work with all stakeholders to implement the strategic vision for the school and THPT to provide an exceptional education including working with pupils, staff, Local Board, parents, carers and the wider community.
As a senior leader, you will ensure that pupils' achievement across the school reaches high standards, ensuring that every child receives a high-quality education. You will model professional behaviour, promoting high expectations, supporting, encouraging and challenging colleagues. You will lead by example and deputise in the absence of the Principal as required.

Due to the nature of this role, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. This post will be exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Therefore, applicants are not entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are ‘spent’ under the provision of the Act, and, in the event of the employment being taken up; any failure to disclose such convictions will result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
