Following promotion, we are excited to announce that we are seeking a Primary Vice Principal to grow our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust where you can lead the school’s development.

We are seeking a talented individual who wants to be a part of transforming education, while helping to create an exceptional place for learning.

An established primary leader, with the skill and vision to realise the huge potential of all-through education, you will take overall responsibility for academy performance. To do this well, you will need to learn quickly, develop strong structures and provide clear strategic direction to a talented staff team. In turn, you will be supported by an experienced Director of Primary Education.

The de Ferrers Trust
We are a multi-academy trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, comprising three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies.

About Richard Wakefield CofE Primary Academy

At Richard Wakefield C.E. Primary Academy, everyone works with pride to achieve their personal best. There are 269 pupils aged from 3 to 11 years. Many of the children live in the lovely village of Tutbury, which is about 5 miles from Burton-on-Trent. The school is fortunate to have the spectacular setting of Tutbury Castle in the background.
