Vacancy for Vice Principal at The Ferrers School
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and passionate individual to join our senior leadership team as Vice Principal. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who can inspire and motivate students and members of staff to achieve our mission. You will provide valuable support to the Principal by playing a key role in shaping the future of our school and demonstrating your continued commitment to student success.
As Vice Principal you will lead in the key areas that we believe are essential to developing high standards in the classroom as well as character, confidence and resilience. Applicants should be passionate about extending the boundaries of learning and be able to innovate and implement initiatives that go beyond traditional boundaries, fostering a culture of continuous learning both in and out of the classroom. Precise responsibilities will be matched to the individual we appoint and the needs of the team.
The Opportunity
- Support the SLT in establishing a vision for the future of the school and partnerships, demonstrating inspirational leader
- Play a lead role in the Academy improvement planning process, taking account of the agreed priorities of the Academy and how these link with national and local initiative.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, in which views of all members of the Academy are valued and considered.
- Work to a high standard in implementing agreed policies, priorities, and expectations, so to set a good example to other colleagues.
- Line manage middle leaders ensuring that their associate staff are professionally managed, effectively led and focused on high quality provision and outcomes.
- Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions.
