VICE PRINCIPAL

The Queen Elizabeth Academy are seeking to appoint a committed Vice Principal to promote the academy ethos and help inspire our students. The individual will lead by example and formulate the priorities and objectives of the Academy to ensure continual improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career.

To succeed, you will have evidence of further professional training, and hold significant experience in ensuring excellent outcomes for young people at KS£, GCSE and A level. The successful candidate will have a proven ability as a successful leader at least to Assistant Principal level.

We are keen to secure a high calibre leader who can make a telling contribution to our team.

Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2022, we retained our “Good” rating, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. Ofsted commented the pupils were “respectful of each other’s views and are exceptionally supportive. Pupils behave well. They are proud of their school and the improvements that have been made in recent years. The Queen Elizabeth Academy is part of the Academy Transformation Trust family of academies.

We are located in the historic North Warwickshire town of Atherstone. The school’s traditions are founded upon the opening of the original Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in 1573.
