Long Road is a thriving, successful post-16 Sixth Form College with 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk and Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful and expanding city of Cambridge. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good or Outstanding in all five categories at its most recent inspection in February 2025.
We are seeking to fill two vacancies in our Visual Arts & Performance department, one as a full-time, term-time only position, working 37 hours per week and another as a part-time, term-time only position, working 25.5 hours per week. As our ideal candidate, you will provide technical support to the Visual Arts & Performance department, with specific responsibilities to Art and Photography, in order to provide and maintain a high quality offer to students. The post holder will work closely with other Visual Arts & Performance technicians.
Previous knowledge of COSHH and CLEAPPS legislation is desirable, and well as a flexible approach to working hours (which will include working weekly twilight hours) as are good team working and communication skills.
