About Windsor Academy Trust
Welcome to our central directorate. We are a highly motivated and strategic team committed to driving educational excellence across our entire network. Operating at the heart of our organisation, our executive professionals work collaboratively to shape policy, support our school leaders, and ensure we deliver on our shared mission for every child. Within the achievement team, we are dedicated to securing rapid improvement in performance and the best possible outcomes for students, particularly those whose learning is vulnerable.
We are an ambitious and proud family of 15 schools. Leading at the executive level within the Trust means you benefit from shared expertise, wider opportunities, and a powerful network of support. This collective power allows us to focus relentlessly on our shared moral purpose: unlocking the academic and personal potential of every child, while ensuring our staff thrive across our communities.
About the Role
As the WAT Director for Maths, you will drive improvement in curriculum quality and outcomes, the quality of teaching, and assessment in secondary Maths. Reporting to the Director of Achievement, you will support Faculty Directors in holding a shared concept of quality across curricula, teaching, and assessment, including a collective drive of the shared curriculum for the subject across the secondary phase.
You will help position the Trust as a regional and national leader in education for subject curriculum development, enhancing our reputation for subject-specific practice (including curriculum quality, enactment, innovation, and teacher development). You will also be expected to cultivate strong influencing relationships with relevant societies, organisations, examination boards, and policymakers.
Advert may close early if we find a suitable candidate.
About You
