Weekend Lettings Assistant job summary

We are looking for friendly and reliable individuals to join our team of Lettings Assistants to oversee our weekend lettings. This role is key in ensuring the smooth running of our out-of-hours lettings and combines customer service and light site duties. You will be the welcoming face of Denefield, opening and closing the site and ensuring that our customers receive all the help they need during their bookings. This may include carrying out checks, setting up and clearing away tables and chairs and ensuring our hirers have left their space clean and tidy for the next user.

This role will suit someone looking for flexible weekend work, from university aged students through to retired individuals. Our school site is fairly large, so applicants should be physically fit and able to move around the school throughout their shift. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be given. We offer a number of shifts across the weekend, from 7.45am through to 10.30pm, Saturday and Sunday. You would not need to be available every weekend.

If you would like to discuss the role or arrange to visit the school, please contact the school directly on 0118 9413458.

Denefield is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will carry out online checks on all shortlisted candidates prior to interview. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks along with other relevant employment checks. CVs will not be accepted. In our school we are committed to securing genuine equality of opportunity in all aspects of our activities as an employer and education provider.

Completed applications should reach us by midnight on Sunday 1 December, 2024.

Please note that we reserve the right to call candidates to interview before the closing date. As such, early applications are encouraged.
