Weekend Lettings Assistant job summary

Glyn School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Weekend Lettings Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the schools Astro facility based at Priest Hill.

Your opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the schools Astro facility during weekend lettings, including opening and securing the site, welcoming and supporting users, overseeing equipment and facilities, and delivering a high standard of customer service. It is important that the candidate has a professional and welcoming manner at all times, as they will be dealing with external companies on a regular basis.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
  • Have knowledge of sports facilities and lettings processes (advantageous).
  • Be a pro-active member of the team with a can-do approach.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Have basic maintenance skills and willingness to learn.

Start Date: TBC

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 13.5hrs Saturday 11am – 9pm & Sunday 4pm - 8pm (All year - 52 weeks)

Pay Scale: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 - Max - £23,651 - £25,618 FTE

Actual Salary: £8,869.13 - £9,606.75

Closing Date: Monday 8th December at 9.30am
