What skills and experience we're looking for

    • Educated at GCSE Standard including Maths & English.
    • Knowledge of First Aid and a current First Aid Qualification.
    • Ability to provide support for pupils; ensuring their safety, welfare and pastoral needs are met.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ability to use IT effectively.
    • Experience maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information.
    • An interest and commitment to work-related training.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to cope with and adapt to change.
    • Ability to work with other team members and to contribute imaginatively to team development.
    • Ability to work co-operatively and flexibly within a team.
    • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
    • Ability to act and work on own initiative.
    • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities when working with children.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
    • Strong record-keeping and data-entry skills.

We are highly over-subscribed, friendly and welcoming two form entry Voluntary Aided Church of England primary school in the heart of Winchmore Hill, close to The Green and the overground train station.
