What skills and experience we're looking for
Moorside Academy are seeking to appoint 2 Lunchtime Welfare Assistants to assist in the care and general welfare of pupils across the 2-11 years age range during the lunchtime period - 5 hours per week.
This post will initially be in the early years setting with children aged 2-5 years old.
The role requires someone who has a positive attitude toward working with children in their care and the ability to be a good role model. You will need to provide a nurturing approach and be supportive of the distinctive ethos and values of our school.
Desirable Qualifications
- First Aid training
- Food Safety
Desirable Experience
- Working as a welfare assistant or working with children in the past
- Positive behaviour management
- Working knowledge of safeguarding
