Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary
Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Governors, staff and children of Heswall Primary School are seeking to appoint three highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our hard working and committed team.

The successful candidates will be working alongside a team of caring, enthusiastic, dedicated staff, who are well-supported by their Senior Leadership Team.

What the role involves:
Working as part of our amazing team, you will:
- Promote safe, calm and positive lunchtimes
- Help children with their lunches where needed
- Encourage children to eat well and develop independence
- Clear tables, manage spillages and tidy the hall after service
On the playground, you will:
- Encourage active and imaginative play
- Support children to include one another
- Help resolve minor disagreements calmly and fairly
- Promote respectful behaviour choices in line with our schools Behaviour Management Policy
- Ensure children are supervised safely at all times
You will also:
- Provide minor first aid when required and record incidents appropriately
- Report more serious concerns to senior leaders
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the academy, raising any concerns following academy protocol/procedures.

- Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships
- Works well as part of a team
- Understands the importance of safeguarding
