Wellbeing Support Manager job summary

The role encompasses the management of social, emotional and mental health programmes and systems within the school (e.g. Boxall Profile) ensuring impact measurement documents and tracking systems are up to date. The Wellbeing Support Manager will be required to produce accurate summary reports of behavioural trends reporting to the Senior Management Team. They will be required to fully contribute to the implementation of systems/management strategies which aim to reduce numbers of incidents as identified through the data analysis.

The post holder will line manage the Wellbeing support officers and will work closely with class teams to support the development of classroom behaviour management in-line with trauma informed principles, the use of PACE, Emotion Coaching, restorative conversations and other recognised SEMH strategies.

Minimum of Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) status, degree or equivalent qualification or experience. We expect all potential candidates to arrange a visit to the school prior to the application closing date.
