Brooklands Primary School, part of the Maritime Academy Trust, is looking for a Wraparound Care Supervisor to lead our Wrap Around Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a supportive school community—ensuring children have a fun, safe, and nurturing place to start and end their day.

About The Role

As Wraparound Care Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of our extended provision, supporting children aged 5-11 years in a secure and welcoming environment. You will:

  • Lead, manage, and organise the Extended Day team and provision

  • Direct and support staff and external providers, ensuring activities are engaging and safe

  • Induct new staff members and providers into the setting

  • Liaise with parents and carers regarding children’s needs, including medical and dietary requirements

  • Maintain up-to-date records of medical conditions and allergies

  • Administer first aid and follow safeguarding procedures as required

  • Ensure smooth handover of children at drop-off and collection times

  • Oversee safe opening and closing of the site, working with site staff as necessary

Every day will be different—you might be leading games and activities, supporting your team, welcoming parents, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting

  • Confident in leading a small team and managing day-to-day organisation

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs

  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding and committed to promoting the wellbeing of all children

  • Organised, flexible, and able to ensure a safe, high-quality provision

This role would suit someone with supervisory experience in education, childcare, or wraparound care who is looking to make a real impact in a warm and welcoming school.
