Wraparound Assistant job summary

Freeland CE Primary School are looking for a Wraparound Assistant for our After School club

Role: Wraparound Assistant needed

Part time/temporary in the first instance until August 2025 – 5 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday in the first instance)

Hours 15.00-17.30

Salary

Grade 4, Point 4 (£12.68 per hour/term time only + holiday pay) Start date: as soon as possible

We are looking to appoint an individual who can support us in delivering a caring and nurturing environment for all children in our After School club. We see children as individuals, and care for them accordingly: this might involve, playing games, doing crafts, activities outside, reading or watching films. We have a relaxed atmosphere as well as adopting the same behaviour and conduct expectations in line with the rest of school.

The successful candidate will:

Be friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner.

Be able to show discretion and respect confidentiality.

Be positive in their approach as we continue to grow our provision

Experience working in a school setting and/or with children is desirable but not essential.
