We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our after‑school club team. Working under the direction of the After School Club Leader, the Play Worker will support the safe and effective day‑to‑day running of the provision.

The role involves supervising and engaging children in a range of play‑based activities, helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment at the end of the school day. The successful candidate will follow established routines and procedures, support behaviour management, and work as part of a team to ensure the wellbeing and enjoyment of all pupils.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to providing high‑quality care and play opportunities.

This is a term time only post, with up to 15 hours of work per week available, working 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary is on Grade 4 / £13.05 to £13.26 per hour (actual annual salary £8,561 to £8,696).

We are a small village school of around 160 children serving a community of families that are aspirant and care about education. You will be an outstanding individual who understands the value of working hard with a view to making a terrific difference. We are not seeking a particular profile of applicant; we are looking for energy and a shared value of putting our children at the centre of everything we do.

Dedication, flexibility and the ability to work as a member of a team is essential.
