Wraparound Care Assistant – Breakfast & After School Club job summary

Part time - 13.75 hours/week (Mon to Thu 15.15-18.00 / Fri 15.15-16.30 and Weds 07.20 - 08.50)

Are you somebody who can continue our school values into our wraparound care provision?

Could you provide a home from home environment, preparing children for a day of learning ahead or providing a relaxing, engaging and fun environment at the end of the school day?

Your main responsibilities would include;

  • Supervising children aged between 4 & 11
  • Leading a range of imaginative activities
  • Preparing and serving breakfast and/or snacks
  • Communicating with parents and carers
  • Setting up and storing equipment, leaving all facilities clean and tidy for the following day
  • Day to day administration in liaison with the Club manager

We are looking for someone who is, well organised, flexible, creative and able to communicate and build good relationships with children, parents & staff. A first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
