We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable After School Provision Assistant to lead and manage our after-school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment outside of school hours - working 3.20pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Fixed Term, Term Time Only.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the daily operation of the after-school club.

Ensure all children are safe, happy, and engaged in age-appropriate activities.

Plan and deliver a variety of structured and free-play sessions, including creative, physical, and educational activities.

Manage and support after-school staff, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork.

Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure all safeguarding, first aid, and health & safety procedures are followed.

Communicate professionally with parents/carers, responding to enquiries and sharing relevant information as needed.

Monitor supplies and request resources to support the program.

Report any safeguarding or behaviour concerns to the appropriate school lead in line with policy.

Support inclusion and ensure that the provision is welcoming and accessible to all children.

Participate in relevant training and professional development.

We are seeking someone who is:

Passionate about working with children and creating a positive environment.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage a small team.
A good communicator with children, parents, and staff.
A positive role model with high expectations of behaviour and respect.
Ideally experienced in childcare and/or education (though training can be provided).

Qualifications & Experience

Preferably Level 3 qualification in childcare/teaching assistant (desirable).
First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
Experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting.
