Wraparound Care Co Ordinator job summary
Are you a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with a passion for creating safe, inspiring spaces for children to thrive before and after school? If so, we want you to lead our wraparound care provision and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils and families.
At Grampian Primary Academy, we believe every child deserves a joyful start and end to their school day. As our Wraparound Care Co-ordinator, you’ll be the warm, welcoming face that helps children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and play.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Leading a team of playworkers to deliver high-quality wraparound care.
- Planning creative, engaging activities that support child development.
- Preparing healthy snacks and promoting positive eating habits.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Managing resources, budgets, and day-to-day admin with confidence.
- Level 3 NVQ or CACHE qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
- Experience working with children in play, childcare, or out-of-school settings.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and inclusive practice.
- A creative, enthusiastic, and caring approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A supportive school community where your ideas and energy are valued.
