Wraparound Care Lead (Level 3) job summary

What We Are Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who:
Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or a related field.
Have experience working with primary-aged children.
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
Can confidently lead and organise activities for groups of children.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Are caring, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
Demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude.
Share our school values of Kindness, Respect, Collaboration, Creativity, Resilience and Exploration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's wraparound care provision.
Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's social, emotional and physical development.
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel happy and secure.
Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's Behaviour Policy.
Supervise and support children during play, snack times and daily routines.
Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
Work closely with parents, carers and school staff to support children's wellbeing.
Maintain registers and relevant records as required.
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
