What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children (4 – 11 years old) in a play / educational setting;
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
  • Is First Aid trained (advantageous).

Willowbrook Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our new after-school provision, starting as soon as possible.

Contract: Fixed Term (until 13th February 2026).Working Hours: Part time (12.5 hours per week, 3pm until 5.30pm Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days).Required: ASAP.
