Wraparound Care Manager

Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2025

Salary: £14,862 per annum (actual salary) – Grade 4, pt 10

Location: Rushmere Hall Primary School, Lanark Road, Ipswich, IP4 3EJ

Contract type: Permanent, 38 weeks term time only

Hours: 21.67 hours per week, working Mondays to Fridays 07:15 – 08:50 & 15:15 - 18:00 plus 1.83 hours per week admin time (total 23.5 hours per week)

Rushmere Primary School is looking for a Wraparound Care Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be:

Organise and administer the wraparound care program, including meticulously planning engaging activities, ensuring the readiness and maintenance of all equipment, managing the booking system with precision, and coordinating the work of wraparound care assistants.

Manage stock levels in respect consumables, ensuring food supplies are adequate and place orders, via the admin office, for replenishment as appropriate, and kept within the financial budgets of the wraparound care.

Manage the session booking system, ensuring all sessions are paid for and chase parents for payment as appropriate.

Liaise with the school finance team with regards to payments via voucher schemes, ensuring the financial budgets are up to date and accurate

Organise, line manage, deploy, support and supervise wraparound care assistants

Carry out appraisals and probation reviews with wrap around care assistants

Arrange cover for any staff absences
