Wraparound Club Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Assistant to support the early morning wrap around care at our school.


This position is to be worked across up to 3 mornings per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), between the hours of 8:00am until 9:00am term time only. We are happy to consider a job share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision and care of children during wraparound hours
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • Participate in the supervision of age-appropriate activities and games
  • Maintain accurate registers/records and communicate effectively with parents/carers/colleagues
  • Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures

You should:

Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children.

Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team.

Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Follow the school safeguarding and health & safety policies and have a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
