Wraparound Club Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Club Wrap Around Care Assistant to support the wrap around care at our school.
This position is for 1 afternoon per week on a Tuesday, between the hours of 3:15pm until 4:30pm, term time only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision and care of children during wraparound hours
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Supervision of age-appropriate activities and games
- Supervision of after school snacks
- Maintain accurate registers/records and communicate effectively with parents/carers/colleagues
You should:
- Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children.
- Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team.
- Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Follow the school safeguarding and health & safety policies and have a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
