Wraparound Club Playworker job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint two Wraparound Club Playworkers to support the Wraparound Club at St. Peter's Catholic Primary School.

Hours of work (position 1) are 21.5 per week working 7.30am-9.00am, then 3.00pm-6.00pm, Monday to Thursday. 7.30am-9.00am, then 3.00-5.00pm Fridays, term time only.

Hours of work (position 2) are 14.25 per week working 7.30am-8.45am Monday to Friday, then 3.00pm-5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, term time only.

Salary quoted will be pro rated accordingly

The main duties of the role are:

To support the Wraparound Club in providing a high-quality wraparound care provision at St. Peter's Catholic Primary School

To supervise children who are attending the Wraparound Club

The successful candidate will:

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children

As well as being professional, be friendly, patient and understanding towards children.

Have strong moral and ethical principles and values

Be enthusiastic and motivated and able to communicate well with a range of people

Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations

Be flexible, open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour

Act with utmost integrity at all times
