Wraparound Club Manager job summary
This is an exciting time for Old Trafford Community Academy as we continue our development. From September we will be launching our new Wraparound Care provision with a breakfast club from 7.45am each day and an afterschool club operating until 5.30pm
As our Wraparound Manager you will be responsible for coordinating our new provision. You will need to plan a series of varied and enjoyable activities that will be suitable for children from Reception to Year 6 attending the clubs on a daily basis.
You will have a background in working with children, being able to build positive relationships, acting as a role model and leading a small team in responding to the individual needs of the children attending.
The role will involve working a split shift to cover both the Breakfast & the afterschool club,.. In total the contract is for 21 hours per week term time only plus training days. As well as organising activities on a daily basis, as the Manager you will need to take responsibility for ordering & planning food for the week, some food preparation, liaison with parents and overseeing the booking system along side the school admin team.
You will need to hold an appropriate First Aid qualification or be willing to undertake appropriate training. A knowledge of safeguarding is desirable, however training will be provided with the possibility of advanced training to become part of the School DSL team.
Your core working hours will be from 7.30am - 8.45am and from 3.00pm - 5.45pm with an additional hour to use for admin duties
