Wraparound Manager job summary
Permanent, 19.5 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am-9:00am (Breakfast Club) and Monday to Thursday 3:00pm-6:00pm (After School Club)
Salary: NJC Pay Scale Point 6 - £13.47 per hour (£9,875.82 per annum)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and caring individual to lead our new wraparound provision, The Canopy, at Meridian Primary School.
The Canopy provides a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for our children before and after the school day. We are looking for a leader or someone who wants to develop their leadership skills and who is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and creating a fun, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We are committed to continuous improvement and are looking for someone who will help shape and develop our wraparound provision to meet the needs of our school community.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with primary-aged children in a childcare, education or play setting
- Has experience of or is keen to develop skills of leading a small team, with the confidence to motivate and support colleagues
- Can create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children enjoy a wide range of creative, physical and recreational activities
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills and can manage the day-to-day running of a busy wraparound provision
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Is proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for helping children flourish
- Is willing to undertake Full Paediatric First Aid and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) training
As The Canopy Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of our Breakfast and After School Club, ensuring sessions run safely and smoothly
- Manage, support and organise the wraparound staff team with the support of school leaders
- Plan and deliver a varied programme of engaging activities that promote children's wellbeing, creativity and development
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, first aid and children's welfare within the provision
- Manage attendance, food provision, resources and administrative processes with the support of school leaders
- Develop positive partnerships with parents, carers and school staff
- Work alongside the Headteacher and School Finance Lead to develop and grow our successful wraparound provision
