What skills and experience we're looking for

Shipston-on-Stour Primary School, part of The Stour Federation, is looking for an excellent, full-time teacher to teach in Year 6. The current class is shared by one teacher who will beginning maternity leave and one who is retiring at Christmas. We would be keen to hear about your professional experience and what you can offer. We are looking for an inspiring and professionally thoughtful candidate who must be able to use a range of pedagogical techniques and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children. You must enjoy working as part of a supportive team who care for each other, our children and our whole community. We are a two form entry school so you would have the support of a Year colleague to work with, as well as a full time Teaching Assistant.

To be the successful candidate, you will need to have good experience of working in school, have an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and be both creative and passionate about learning. You must have high expectations for children's outcomes.
