Year 1/2 Class Teacher job summary

Smannell and Enham CE Primary School is a small rural school, set on the outskirts of Andover; we are fortunate to have a modern, well-equipped building, with extensive landscaped grounds. Our school is wonderfully small, with a capacity of 105 children but only 80 currently on roll.

A new leadership and staff team started at the school in September, with a vision to drive forward improvement and ensure that our children have the very best opportunities and education that we can provide. We have focussed heavily on developing a behaviour and relationships approach, which has ensured that behaviour within the school is now exemplary, with all external visitors commenting on the calm and purposeful learning environment. With our small class sizes, we know all of our children and families well and prioritise mental health and wellbeing for all.

We are seeking an experienced KS1 class teacher, who is passionate about teaching and will ensure our children have the skills and knowledge needed for their next steps in education.
