The Southwater Infant Academy is looking for an inspirational and outstanding leader and teacher of KS1 who is ready for the move (or to step up) into this exciting leadership role.

We drive our curriculum through key values and nurture the creativity, curiosity and imagination of our children. Assessment is used as a tool to inform planning, which is responsive and developmental for each individual child. Our commitment is to provide an outstanding education for every child, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful, lifelong learners. As an infant school, we are specialists in Early Years education, with a dedicated and experienced team working across the academy, and work closely in collaboration with other schools across the locality.
You will have an impact on the outcomes of our children through securing outstanding quality first teaching across the year group. You will be passionate about putting the needs of our pupils and their families at the heart of everything you do and be an excellent role model supporting staff to make continuous improvements to their practice.
The Southwater Infant Academy is looking to appoint an ambitious professional to take a major role with the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team in driving forward our agenda for excellence and continuous improvement.
You will help to lead the teaching, learning and assessment across the year group, ensuring that each child receives positive encouragement, support and challenge to develop their potential to the full. You will be joining a friendly, hardworking, committed team of professionals and happy, enthusiastic, well behaved pupils who are very proud of our academy.
The specific responsibilities of this post will take into account the academy's needs, and the strengths, interests and experience of the successful applicant.
