What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the relocation of our current postholder, a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our village school of 108 children. We are looking to appoint a part-time outstanding teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. You will make a significant contribution to raising standards in our school and be able to commit to the school’s distinctive Christian ethos. We are looking for a teacher to teach in our mixed Year 1&2 classroom on a Thursday and Friday.
Visitors always comment on the friendly ethos of our small school and the outstanding behaviour of our children. We are currently in the top 2% of all primary schools nationally based on our end of KS2 outcomes. This role is M1 to M6.
The successful candidate will:
- deliver creative and exciting learning which builds on the children’s prior learning, knowledge and interests.
- be willing to lead a curriculum subject across the school.
- create learning environments that inspire and motivate children.
- have excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
What the school offers its staff
Stanion C.E Primary is a friendly, popular school located between Kettering and Corby. We are always oversubscribed and have a waiting list to join the school. We achieved a ‘Good’ grade in our latest Ofsted inspection in November 2022. Also, we achieved a J1 outcome in our recent SIAMs church inspection being awarded the Bishop’s Award for Excellence.
