What skills and experience we're looking for

About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 teacher to join our friendly and supportive team for three days a week. You will work closely with the parallel class teacher and support staff to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that help every child achieve their best.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
  • Plans creative, inspiring lessons that bring the curriculum to life
  • Has experience teaching phonics, ideally using Little Wandle
  • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement with a relational approach
  • Is committed to fostering a positive, nurturing classroom environment
